Terry Ziemniak is an Advisor at StarBridge Advisors, LLC. Terry is a technically sophisticated and savvy business leader who has successfully overseen security programs in companies of varied industries, sizes, and cultures.

Terry most recently served as AVP and CISO at Carolinas Healthcare. Prior to that, he served as Director of IS Security and ISO for Presence Health. He is an experienced leader of cybersecurity programs with proven success in building, executing and improving security programs. He has excelled in building solutions and programs that are scalable, pragmatic and risk-based. He has developed strong working relationships with executives and other business stakeholders, inside and outside of the organization, ensuring the security program aligns with business objectives and supports critical initiatives. He leverages his strengths as a communicator and team builder to foster and reinforce a shared culture of security. Terry has successfully led cultural change in large organizations providing the ability to better leverage users as a vital component of a security program.

He has led enterprise-wide initiatives to introduce or expand key components of information security including Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Security Operations, Disaster Preparedness, Threat Intelligence, Incident Management, and Security Awareness.

Terry completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University, in Computer Science and has a Master of Information Security System from DePaul University.
