Greg Johnson

Greg Johnson is an Advisor with StarBridge Advisors, LLC. Greg has spent most of his career in high tech, ranging from teaching to leading software support teams, to engineering service solutions to managing small and large-scale projects, and leading teams of engineers.
Since 2002, Greg has used his innovative approach to transformational IT within healthcare. Greg has served as Director of Technology for the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary (a Harvard University teaching hospital), Chief Technology Officer for the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, VP/ CTO for Texas Health Resources, and most recently as Director for the Healthcare Sector Services for Black Box Services. He and his teams have achieved success that has been recognized nationally and internationally through numerous case studies, white papers, and professional articles showcasing the role that laying a strong IT foundation has in being able to provide exemplary patient care as healthcare becomes increasingly dependent upon technology.
Greg and his teams have been responsible for all technical infrastructure from the Data Centers out to the End Point Devices including Wired and Wireless, DAS, Storage Systems, Servers, Messaging Systems, Telephony, Unified Communications, Databases, etc.
Greg holds a B.Sc. degree in Nuclear Analytical Chemistry from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. He is an author, speaker, and teacher outside of his professional life.
