He is a veteran healthcare IT executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, and technology strategies across health systems and high-growth organizations. He has served as CIO at Veterinary Practice Partners, Division CIO for HCA Healthcare, and CIO at Mission Health System where he led enterprise EHR and ERP implementations, scaled IT operating models, and delivered measurable cost efficiencies and clinical improvements.
Recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as one of the “Top 100 CIOs to Know,” Jon is widely respected for building resilient infrastructures, advancing information security programs, and enabling data-driven care delivery. He has held governance and advisory roles with HIMSS, NC HIMSS (President, 2017), NCHICA (President, 2007), Mission Health Partners, and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Institutional Review Board.
In addition to his operational leadership, Jon has evaluated, launched, and guided technology start-ups focused on healthcare innovation, and he brings expertise in regulatory compliance, digital trust, and M&A integration. Jon holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a BS in Electronic Engineering from Bob Jones University.
