References to “StarBridge” shall mean StarBridge Advisors, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“StarBridge”).  The Privacy Policy pertains to your use of the StarBridge website. StarBridge understands the importance of “Personal Information” and “Non-Personal Information.”  This Privacy Policy is intended to give you an overview of how we use and protect your Personal Information and Non-Personal Information including:

  • What choices you have about our use of your Personal Information/Non-Personal Information;

How Information Collected Is Used

StarBridge may use Your Information to:

  • Conduct research and measurement activities;
  • Send you personalized emails or secure electronic messages pertaining to StarBridge and services we offer.

We may combine Personal and Non-Personal Information with information from external sources.  Personal Information that we obtain from you may be used to communicate with you and for marketing purposes and may also may also be aggregated and de-identified before we use it.

With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

StarBridge will not disclose any identifying Personal Information about you unless specifically required:

  • To comply with legal requirements, such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order;
  • In response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
  • To enable StarBridge to fulfill your inquiries;
  • In the event of a corporate change in control resulting from, for example, a merger, sale of assets or a bankruptcy by StarBridge;
  • When StarBridge believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, your safety or the safety of others including your patients, to investigate fraud or to respond to a government request;
  • In special cases, such as in response to a threat.

Also, please understand that Non-Personal Information is, by definition, not capable of being used to identify you.   

How Do We Secure and Retain Your Information?

StarBridge will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect any Personal Information that you send through or upload into the StarBridge website.  Despite efforts to protect your Personal Information, do not use the StarBridge website if you have any concerns about whether your information could be accessed by third-parties for circumstances that StarBridge cannot control, despite StarBridge’s commercially reasonable best efforts to do so.  Examples may include third-party internet service providers, persons with whom you or your employees share your passwords or to whom you have given administrative access.

Market Research

From time to time, StarBridge may conduct online research surveys through email invitations, pop-up surveys and online focus groups. When participating in a survey, StarBridge may ask you to enter Personal Information. The Personal Information you submit may be used for research and measurement purposes as described below such as, for example, measuring the effectiveness of content, and advertising our offerings or programs. Market research surveys conducted by or on behalf of StarBridge will contain a link to this Privacy Policy.

Emails You Send to StarBridge

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information, content, business information, ideas, concepts or inventions that you send StarBridge by email. If you want to keep content or business information, ideas, concepts or inventions private or proprietary, please do not send them to StarBridge.

Cookies and Web Beacons

As is generally the case with most vendors, StarBridge may gather certain information through your use of our website and the StarBridge website. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser types, Internet service providers (ISP), referring/exit pages, and the files viewed or functionality used within the StarBridge website.  The gathering, if made, would be by use of cookies and may involve web beacons.

For purposes of clarity, “Cookies” are small data files that are stored on the hard drive of the computer you use to view a web site. Every computer that accesses the StarBridge website is assigned a different Cookie. “Web Beacons” are graphic image files embedded in a web page typically used to monitor activity on the page and send back to its home server (which can belong to the host site, a network advertiser or some other third party).  It collects information from your browser, such as the IP addresses, the URL of the page on which the Web Beacon is located, the type of browser that is accessing the app, and the ID number of any Cookies on your computer.

StarBridge reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy or any of its software, tools and services at any time, and any changes will be effective upon being posted unless it advises otherwise. If StarBridge makes any material changes to this policy, it will attempt to notify you by email (sent to the email address specified when you register) and/or by means prior to the change becoming effective. StarBridge encourages you to periodically review its website and this Privacy Policy for the latest information on its privacy practices.
